ABOUT US

We are an independent information website that helps Filipino motorists understand Land Transportation Office (LTO) services, from vehicle registration and driver’s license renewal to plate numbers and the LTO Portal. We are not a government agency, and we are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to the LTO or the Department of Transportation (DOTr) in any way.

Why we created this website

Owning or driving a vehicle in the Philippines means dealing with the LTO regularly: registering a car or motorcycle, renewing a license, checking plate status, updating records, or settling violations. Many drivers find the process confusing. Requirements change, deadlines are easy to miss, and advice online is often outdated or contradictory. We built LTO Tracker to explain these topics in clear, practical language, all in one place.

What you will find here

  • Step-by-step guides for using the LTO Portal and creating an online account
  • Explanations of vehicle registration, renewal schedules, and required documents
  • Guides on driver’s license application, renewal, and common requirements
  • Information about license plates, plate release, and how to check status
  • Overviews of fees, penalties, and common traffic-related procedures as publicly announced
  • Troubleshooting tips for common portal and registration problems
  • Warnings about scams, fixers, and fake websites pretending to be the LTO

How we create our content

Every article is researched and written by a real person. We base our guides on official LTO announcements, public memoranda, and information published by the agency, and we add our own explanations, practical tips, and examples. We do not copy content from other websites. When procedures change, we update our articles. If you notice something outdated or incorrect, please let us know through our Contact page and we will review it.

Our promise to readers

  • Honesty: We always make clear that we are an independent website.
  • Accuracy: We do our best to keep information current, and we encourage you to confirm details on the official LTO website or at an LTO office before acting.
  • Safety: We will never ask for your passwords, license number, plate or chassis details, bank information, or one-time passwords (OTP). Please never share these with any website or person that is not the official agency.
